TRAILERING A KOLB DENNIS KIRBY CUSTOM DESIGN TRAILER- KOLB MK III

This homemade dolly was designed to support both the tailboom and the folded wings, while making ground maneuvering easy. The center tailboom support is made from a two-foot long piece of 10-inch-diam PVC pipe, cut in half lengthwise. It is padded with hi-density foam to protect the boom. The large castor wheels allow the plane to roll easily over rough surfaces. The dolly doubles as the tailboom support while transporting the Kolb on its trailer.
