The tail feathers
are held upright by a piece of 3/16" music wire. The wire passes
through the flying wire mounting holes on the vertical and horizontal
stabs. There's a RC model wheel collar on each side of each surface.
We chose this method after seeing damage to Polytone from the traditional
PVC pipe method of securement. |
